Canberra AIE Team games: Melon Movers + Melon Defense
Mellon Movers – keeping your mellons out of the paws of those pesky cat space pirates!
Mellon Movers puts the player in command of the Mellon Hauler Endeavour, charged with delivering a cargo of watermellons across the vastness of space in time for the end of the Summnertime Festival on Tubular Prime. However, the Clawian Alliance (a race of space borne feline pirates) is determined to get it’s paws on your delicious cargo as you hurtle through the hyperspace wormhole, and has sent an armada of ships to steal the mellons!
As you hurtle through the wormhole, avoid the shuttlecock missiles shot from the Clawian ships, and use your cargo as ammunition for your mellon cannon. Keep an eye on your stockpile though, because if you use to many, you won’t have enough mellons for the summertime festival. Whenever a Clawian ship is destroyed, it will release many mellons which you can scoop up and add to your own stockpile. If left loose in space too long, these mellons will attract the gigantic space bees which inhabit the wormhole, and they will attempt to fly off with them. The space bees can be distracted by releasing sunflower countermeasures, which will temporarily generate an enourmous sunflower to distract the bees while you scoop up the mellons.
Ensure you get to Tubular Prime before the end of summertime or you’ll miss the festival!
