The first step in making a game: present the concept for feedback
In this game you get to play the stunt man in a series of very B-grade movies - gameplay is all about completing stunts and achieving the best stunt series for the particular movie set - the mock up above is for a Godzilla movie, there are so many different potential levels for this one, gameplay involves finding and completing the best stunts for the scene. Player is rewarded with points - and their own movie stunt clip!
There are two ways you can HELP the team make this game! You can contribute to the game by suggesting ideas and scenarios that the stunt man in the game will encounter. For example it looks like the team are working on a classic MONSTER MOVIE level first off, gameplay is all about our poor old stunt man completing clever stunts - what should he do in order to impress when he is playing Godzilla:
- Climb the bridge
- Jump on the cars
- Eat the cars
- Drink the river water and spout it
You can also suggest movie sets for the stunt man to star in - for example, it looks like the team have been planning a MONSTER MOVIE LEVEL and a COWBOY WESTERN LEVEL. What other movie types do you think our hero might have to do stunts in? Remember, he is only a B-MOVIE stunt man - no blockbuster action movies for him! Well not yet anyway - perhaps with your help and experience in a number of different B-Movies he might get to act in something bigger later on.
You can contribute via our forums and other communication sites or down at the State Library, we even welcome drawings of the stunt man doing his stunts, as long as he is dressed for the part.
Head to the contribute page and the studio forums to see how YOU can help the team make this game!
